On February 12, a military swearing-in ceremony of newly recruited soldiers was held at the military unit of the Internal Troops No “N”.

The ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Commander of the Interior Troops, Chief of Staff, Major General Tofig Huseynov, members of the Veterans Council and parents of soldiers.

The event began with the commemoration of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and the memory of our martyrs who died for the liberation of our lands. The National Anthem was accompanied by the Model Military Orchestra.

The acting commander of the military unit, Lt. Col. Telman Hasanov gave a speech and reminded the soldiers of the importance of the military oath, of the honorable and responsible duties of servicemen who faithfully swore to their people, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of Azerbaijan, as well as the requirements of the relevant articles of our Constitution.

Young soldiers swore that they would defend the interests of the Republic of Azerbaijan, its sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence, and would not spare their lives for it.

Then, the congratulation of the Deputy Minister of the Interior, the Commander of the Internal Forces, was sent to the soldiers.

The greeting notes that the servicemen who take the military oath, as the whole staff, are personally responsible for each task set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. The letter also emphasizes that the care and attention given to the further strengthening of the internal forces encourages every young man in our ranks to fulfill his duties.

Speakers at the ceremony advised the young soldiers to be loyal to their homeland, the state and the supreme commander of the armed forces and to serve exemplary and disciplined, to constantly improve their combat skills, learning the secrets of weapons and equipment, to accurately and timely execute orders of the commander, to be ready to fight at any time for the freedom of our occupied lands.   

The ceremony ended with a solemn parade of staff.
