Student Admission Rules to Higher Military School of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan Republic for 2020/2021 academic calendar

    Candidates for admission to the Higher Military School of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs should know the Azerbaijani language fluently, who are registered as recruits in the local institution, department and divisions of State Service for Mobilization and Conscription in the Republic of Azerbaijan, who study at the graduate class or have full secondary education and only male citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan between ages of 17 and 20 (but not 20) in the admission year.

    Candidates must be tested in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the physical training, military doctrine and mandate committees established at the Headquarters of the Internal Troops (minimum standards for physical training: stretching on a horizontal bar - 6 times, running - 15 seconds at a distance for 100 meters and 4 minutes at a distance for 1000 meters, push upper body off floor until arms – 18 times, push upper body off floor – 18 times).

    The list of candidates successfully passing the test and relevant examinations is sent to the Counsel of Directors of State Students Admission Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for participation in the admission exams. The exams are held in test mode on 3th group subjects in Azerbaijani and Russian languages.

    All organizational measures, documents, time, place and other conditions related to the admission exams are determined by the Counsel of Directors of the State Students Admission Commission. The candidates must follow the announcements posted on the Commission's website or the media.

    Entrants admitted to the Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are provided with state uniform costumes, dormitories and food. The lessons are taught in Azerbaijani, the education period is 4 years.
    Graduates are assigned to the proper positions in the Internal Troops by giving a qualification of “Public Security and Management" and a military rank “Lieutenant”. Those with a dual citizenship, who have obligations to other states, who are required to go to military service in April and July of 2020 year, religious figures, who have been incapable of action or have been deemed limited by the decision of the court, who have been convicted of premeditated crimes, as well as applicants who have been dismissed without a justification for criminal proceedings and who do not comply with other conditions for admission to service in the Internal Troops are not admitted to the Higher Military School of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
    Candidates must personally submit the following documents to the Headquarters (address: G. Musabayov 4, Binagadi district, Baku city) of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for admission to the Higher Military School of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
–    identification card and birth certificate (original and notarized copy);
–    reference on studying at the final grade of the educational institution or full secondary education certificate (original and notarized copy of the certificate);
–    certificate of health from the medical institution of the place of residence;
–    certificate of first military registration (original and notarized copy);
–    a reference issued by the educational institution;
–    2 pieces of 9x12cm, 4 pieces of 4x6cm photographs (without caps, colored, on dull paper).

    Reception of applications and documents will take place from March 1 to April 10, 2020 (except Sunday and holidays) from 10:00 to 17:00 every day.
