The Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has actively participated in protecting public order and ensuring public safety during the events of state importance, as well as in the international contests together with the related bodies of the internal affairs authorities.

In connection with holding “Eurovision-2012” song contest in Baku city on May of 2012, the actions plan has been prepared, and service was rendered to provide security for 12 sites of the territory, where the contest was held, by the Internal Troops personnel.
While rendering service, the personnel together with the police officers ensured the protection of public order and public safety in the territory, where the contest was held, and took preventive measures for any negative accident.

  During the football world championship among young women under 17 years of age, held in September-October of 2012 in the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the police officers the Internal Troops personnel were also involved in the events related to the protection of public order and ensuring public safety  polis. The personnel acknowledging the importance of their duties in rendering services have actively participated in protection of public order and public security, and have ensured the safety of the events by overcoming their service and fighting tasks together with the police officers.

In general, the personnel have been involved in football matches, concerts, mass events and other important ceremonies held in Baku, Ganja, Nakhchivan, Lankaran, Zagatala cities, and Gabala, Balakan, Yardimli regions in those years, and have adequately ensured the protection of public order  .

 Training of the personnel to be involved in ensuring public safety during the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships, which will be held this year from the 13th till the 15th of June in Baku, have already ended up, their clothing samples have been selected, and other necessary issues have found their solutions.

the Internal Troops personnel is also considered to be involved in the First European Games, which is planned to be held in 2015 in Azerbaijan, in order to maintain the public order, and the relevant measures are carried on for their preparation.
