Today prevention of dangerous infection in humans, protection their health is globally accepted as an important issue due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic confronting the countries of the world facing difficult challenges.
Azerbaijan is one of the countries responding quickly to the World Health Organization's guidelines for the coronavirus pandemic and its recommendations to the international community and implementing them without delay.
Internal Troops personnel were also involved along with police officers to prevent spread of coronavirus infection in the country and its possible complications and to ensure execution of duties arising from the special quarantine regime requirements. Assigning them such an important task comes from the requirements of the relevant legislation. It is also noted that activity of military servicemen was taken into account in the Law on “Status of Internal Troops”. Coronavirus pandemic is also characterized as an emergency case.
Our military servicemen control to the regime of release on city and inter-district roads, protect special health institutions, operate to ensure quarantine-regime measures in settlements along with police officers. They were provided with necessary protective equipment. Personnel understands correctly responsibility of tasks, carries out guidelines on quarantine-regime measures, behaves ethically to citizens, makes positive reference on troops with exemplary service during such a difficult situation. Personnel of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as Azerbaijan people, will also come out of this ordeal honestly, by closely uniting around the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander in Chief Ilham Aliyev and demonstrating their will and unity, the danger of coronavirus disease will soon pass by and its complications will be eliminated by our country, so our lives will return to normal.
